
Stephanie Sigman is a Mexican-American actress. Her breakout role was in Miss Bala (2011), the Mexican crime drama film. She also appeared in Pioneer (2013) and Spectre (2015). On TV, Sigman starred in Narcos (2015) and S.W.A.T (2017) for the first and second seasons of both series. Sigman was born in Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, Mexico, to a Mexican mother and an American father, Lee Sigman, a New York Yankees scout from Kansas. Through her father, Sigman is legally a U.S. citizen. [2][3][4]She is a U.S. citizen by virtue of her father. Her brother is a the baseball player Kenneth Ray Sigman married actress Barbara Mori Sigman. Before making her film debut in Rio de Oro, she began her career as Mexican television star. In 2011 she portrayed the lead role in the film Laura Guerrero in the Mexican crime drama film, Miss Bala.
