Sheryl Underwood is a American comedian, host of a TV show and actress who is best known for hosting the popular daily talk show The Talk. Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas and grew up within Little Rock, Atwater and Atwater. Sheryl has a troubled family. Sheryl spent a large portion of her growing up looking after her sister Frankie as she was a victim of polio. She had a lot of issues with her mother when growing older. Sheryl states that her mother was once brutally beaten by her father for being too close. Sheryl joined the military after her graduation from college. However her interest lay in comedy.
